Some people say “Go Potty”, “Go Pee Pee”, etc. you know your dog best so use whatever command you know they will understand and is familiar. When they do use their new dog potty area be sure to follow this action with positive reinforcement through verbal praise and a little treat that you hide in your pocket for them. You may also want to try putting their leash on them and taking them out to their potty area as to simulate what it feels like to go for a walk.
